WE FINALLY GOT THE WORD THE BOAT WAS READY! We flew to Toronto, Ontario on Oct. 8th and drove to Midland where the boat has been since July. A couple from Detroit are joining us for the ride to Chicago. John Holt (originally from Grafton)and his wife Sharon sail in the area and are going to be with us for about 2 weeks.
We stayed on the boat on Oct. 9th and had a sea trial on Oct. 10th. Everything went great!
Bob and John got the dinghy in the water(first time for the dinghy) and we tested it out in the marina and the bay by the Doral Marina. We provisioned the boat again and got ready to leave for Killarney on Oct. 11th.
